Resumen

FREITAS, Ernani Cesar de; SCHERMACK, Keila de Quadros  y  BOAVENTURA, Luis Henrique. Scenography and ethos in the housewife teacher’s discourse: dramatics of the selfbody in the work activity. Laboreal [online]. 2023, vol.19, n.2, e21486.  Epub 01-Dic-2023. ISSN 1646-5237.  https://doi.org/10.4000/laboreal.21486.

This paper aims to identify and analyze scenographies and discursive ethos manifested in linguistic practices about the work of housewife teachers. The theoretical framework is based on the enunciative-discursive perspective of (Maingueneau, 2018a, 2020) in interface with the ergological studies of (Schwartz & Durrive, 2010). The research is exploratory, with bibliographic and field procedure and has a qualitative approach. The research corpus consists of unstructured interviews with two housewives and teachers. We noticed, through the statements that constitute and build the enunciative scenography, the debate of norms and values about the activity and the dramatics of the use of the body self, revealing discursive ethos of resilience, competence, and professionalism, showing that, even in the face of the current pandemic context, the professionals manage themselves for the welfare of the individuals involved in the work activity.

Palabras clave : ethos; scenography; ergology; work activity; housewife teachers.
