MACEDO, Carlos Silva  and  BARREIRO, Márcia. Adenomyosis and Reproductive Health. Acta Obstet Ginecol Port [online]. 2017, vol.11, n.3, pp.198-207. ISSN 1646-5830.

The available infertility treatments are a complex subject, since they lack a good scientific support. Nevertheless, assisted reproductive technology is an option, and the use of GnRH agonists is one the treatments that revealed better results. There is a need for further studies, in order to answer remaining questions
