Bartholin’s gland cysts and abscesses are a common finding in a gynaecology outpatient clinic or emergency department, presenting usually with pain and a size less than four centimetres. We describe a rare case of a Bartholin gland abscess, because of its uncommon dimensions, almost 17 centimetres of maximum diameter.
