Abstract

Major technical and communicational advances originated by IT have led companies to develop their activities in a context characterized by economies based on knowledge and intensive technology. Knowledge became a very important resource for creating competitive advantages to companies. Thus, companies have tried to explain, systematize and internalize knowledge systems, incorporating them into information and communication systems, available technology, work processes, management systems, etc. knowledge of which they depend on for internal effectiveness and efficiency (Organizational Knowledge / Structural Capital). So, using the methodology of content analysis, the objective of this study is to analyze whether Spanish companies are providing information to their stakeholders about their Structural Capital.
