Abstract

Based on the information from the Granada Water Ordinances of 1538, published in 1552, as an integral part of the City Ordinances, the present work presents the current Granada’s Water Regime in the first half of the 16th century, concerning the ditches that supplied it, both inside and outside the walled enclosure; the days indicated to be able to use its water for domestic use and irrigation; as well as repair and management tasks, and everything related to the perfect distribution of such precious hydraulic resources.
