One way to support organizations’ growth and development is by usingInformation Technologies. Due to the important role of Small Enterprises in world-wide economies, research on the adoption of these technologies is really important. This paper shows the use of the Lazy-User Model to explain Information Technology adoption in Small Enterprises. To do so, a Small Enterprise case study was used. Results show the model is appropriate to explain Information Technology adoption in Small Enterprises similar to the one under study. Based on these results individual, enterprise and government strategies could be established to increase Information Technology adoption in the context of these organizations.
