Abstract

SANTOS, Glaucia Schnoeller dos  and  RICARTE, Ivan Luiz Marques. A strategy based on knowledge acquisition for management of requirements risks on distributed XP development. RISTI [online]. 2016, n.20, pp.18-33. ISSN 1646-9895.  https://doi.org/10.17013/risti.20.18-33.

This study presents a strategy based on a process for the acquisition of knowledge to manage risks related to lack of information and understanding of requirements, when applying Extreme Programming (XP) in distributed software development (DSD). For assessing this strategy, a case study was conducted with experts in systems analysis. Results of this study show that, through semantic rules, the process generates a structured and globalized knowledge, exposing clarity in the requirement, besides being able to identify and extract missing information.

Keywords : Knowledge acquisition; Agile methodologies; Requirements engineering; Risk management.
