This study evaluated the usability of the website from the Instituto Nacional de Educação de Surdos and has adopted the end-user centred approach. The IT Experts Panel has related 28 itens (aspects) from the Website Evaluation Form to the Nielsen heuristics (1994). The judgement of the usability done by users took into consideration the quantitative and qualitative aspects, and it was expressed by the Central Trend Measure being the cut-off point setled as three. From the heuristics, the website fully six, two were partially met and one was not met. The qualification of the usability of INES website was qualified as good, considering the punctuation scale proposed by the Evaluation Form itself
