The use of virtual platforms is increasingly implanted in higher education institutions. Our research has been carried out at the Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre, where the platform for Business Architecture-IPP (PAE-IPP) has been included as a multidisciplinary tool to improve student learning. The research objective has been to observe the perceptions of students and teachers in the use of the PAE-IPP platform for the teaching / learning of mathematics. Among the main conclusions obtained, it stands out that its benefits are: easy access to the contents and worksheets of the subject, but it has been observed that students prefer to learn mathematics together with the teacher and there is a lack of knowledge base of mathematics in students
