The standard ISO/IEC 29110, contains a series of standards and guides to address the software process improvements in Very Small Entities (VSEs), providing a set of best practices basic for the software development. However, even when the standard is focused in VSEs, these organizations show some difficulty to its implementation because two main reasons: a lack of standard comprehension and a lack of knowledge related to the software tools that facilitate its implementation. This article presents the development of a set of routes for the selection of tools oriented to help VSEs that want to start the implementation of the standard or that still use the standard and want to automate the use of their processes by adopting software tools. The article shows the validation of routes by a VSE that still use the standard. Among the main results of this validation, it is highlighted the useful perception that can facilitate the use of the standard.
