The present study aims to discuss the relationship between technological innovation and performance in accommodation facilities in tourist regions in the State of Rio de Janeiro in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic. The proposed methodology is characterized as a quantitative study, using the questionnaire as an instrument for data collection, with an exploratory and descriptive character. The surveys were applied between January 11th and February 6th, 2023, totaling 300 interviewees, based on the sample calculation, thus opting for Exploratory Factor Analysis. The study revealed that technological resources can positively influence the financial performance of hotels, providing information so that managers can make better decisions. It was understood that the Covid-19 pandemic had a significant impact on accommodation facilities in the State of Rio de Janeiro, with the adoption of new technologies being extremely important, especially those focused on communication, operational and health processes.
