Abstract

THURLER, Djalma  and  SANTANNA, Marilda. Raid das Moças: performance and subversive humor or when Foucault visits the popular movies of Atlantis. Estúdio [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.5, pp.126-131. ISSN 1647-6158.

The Girls' Raid is a female vocal performance group that 20 years ago has served in various cities in Brazil. Our summary seeks to show, based on the last show of their repertoire, "Culture of depression" as a job seemingly innocent and harmless can be loaded with critical and conceptual proposals that legitimize and authorize the mood and performance as modus faciendi of contemporary art.

Keywords : Raid das Moças; Culture of depression; camp aesthetic; intertextual parody.
