This article proposes a reflection from the series 'Longing for the Body,'by Brazilian artist Mirla Fernandes (São Paulo, 1969), whose poetic discusses the relations between body and jewel. The importance of the body in art jewelry is presented through the works chosen, questioning the relationship between the body that makes and the body who wear. These contents allow us to think the notion of 'Body without Organs' (BwO) by Deleuze and Guattari.
