Abstract

The sculptures of Joana Vasconcelos condensate the mind/object/body relationship in signifying shapes where fashion plays a distinguished role. The relevance of fashion as work of art is revealed in internationally recognized works, by which the sculptor analyses the world, using icons of her national culture that are also global.
