Abstract

LATKA, Joanna. A freedom offered is more dangerous than the toughest shackle - Apocalypse of the Portuguese, by Semke Hein and his satire of society and the Portuguese Revolution of April 25, 1974.. Estúdio [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.6, pp.44-49. ISSN 1647-6158.

The aim is to present an article of extraordinary Artist Books of Hein Semke, entitled "Apocalypse of the Portuguese" or "Carnation Revolution", where we can observe a high standard of artistic production along with a review of the political situation that lived in the Portugal in the 70s. The artist shows us his expression not only in the illustration but also in written form.
