This paper studies the journey diaries of the artist Fernando Bellver, paying special attention to the relation among these journals and his plastic work. The sketch diaries filled in by Bellver in each of his trips began as booklets of sketches and personal annotations which have become today art pieces with value in themselves, entering into the genre of artist’s books.
