Paula Rito inherited a taste for the sketchbook from Lagoa Henriques. From the many dozens (hundreds?) of sketchbooks she keeps, we chose the ones that repeat the same kind of place, year after year. Each one of these sketchbooks shares a vision because the body learns and so does the vision. The cover may come later, seen from a distance, enveloped by the memory and the matter that also inhabit these sketchbooks.
