Abstract

This article proposes the questioning and the application of the Artist’s Book as a pedagogic tool, which promotes the skills of creativity and reflection, using Duchamp’s definition as a starting point "it’s an Artist’s Book if the artist made it or if the artist says that it is", reflecting on the malleable nature of the definitions of (and relation between) artist and art in the classroom context, proposing the "student" as a creator-subject.
