Abstract

PUIG MESTRES, Eloi. Engravings of delirium, of David Curto: Une semaine mauvaise, an eighteenth-century book appropriation. Estúdio [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.6, pp.209-213. ISSN 1647-6158.

David Curto books are a sarcastic extension of their proposals where confluences his critique of global system through a refined graphic presentation. This article reviews the book "Une mauvaise semanine"that’s a clever reference to "Une semaine de bonté" of Max Ernst. Curto updates the appropriationists proposals of Max Ernst, and frames them into a delirious scenography that calls into question the "complacent" values of our political class, ecclesiastical and financial, framed in the ubiquitous capitalism.

Keywords : appropriation; delirium; reality; fiction.
