Abstract

REQUIAO, Renata Azevedo. The disturbing book by Daniel Acosta: the travel, the landscape, the reading. Estúdio [online]. 2012, vol.3, n.6, pp.222-228. ISSN 1647-6158.

Herein I introduce the only "artist's book" by the Brazilian Daniel Acosta. "Comfortablescapebook" is a book that offers the reader/user an intense game of displacements. In this article the history of books and writing is taken into account, being considered on the limits of representation. Under literary perspective, theme and narrative voice are focused on, revealing the relationship between man and the place where he lives, his displacement in the world, seeing different landscapes, and his settling in cities, isolated in his inner residence.

Keywords : daniel acosta; travel; place; landscape; lecture.
