The aim of this paper is to follow, the conceptual exercise of Brazilian artist, Frederico Merij in developing of a book of loose sheets which became the central point- the focus of the exhibition - "Del classic gusto español," held at the Museum of Modern Art Murilo Mendes, (MAMM) in the year of 2012, in Juiz de Fora city, Minas Gerais state, Brazil. Verify ‘deconstructions - displacements and dis-placements’ in the artist’s creative process will lead to the following analysis: This artist’s book can be considered a not organic work, from the perspective of Peter Burger? What is the importance of the collector look in the artistic process? These slides - loose pages - emancipate themselves from the whole that is the book?
