Abstract

This article seeks to identify a certain idea of landscape at a specific point of the work of João Jacinto, a point where the presence of the landscape is perhaps less obvious. Along the way, we make some considerations about the possibilities of contemporary painting, its relationship with the digital image and its rich tradition.
