In the 70s, António Ole initiates a multidisciplinary artistic research around the architectures from the slums of Luanda ("musseques"). This resulted in the creation of a series of collages, photographs and installations that present fragments of urban landscapes confronting the viewer with the precariousness of the materials but also the resilience and improvisation who daily builds these survival structures.
