Abstract

This communication proposes an approach of two projects developed by the Angolan artist Kiluanji Kia Henda, entitled, respectively , Balumuka (Ambush) and O.R.G.A.S.M. - Organization of African States is Mellowness - both of 2011. In these the author suggests a challenge to dominant discourses about history or Western philanthropy in Africa, while exposing the lines that connect local and global realities.
