Abstract

NUNES, Luís Herberto de Avelar Borges Ferreira. Acácia Maria Thiele: Feminine forbidden grounds. Estúdio [online]. 2014, vol.5, n.9, pp.103-110. ISSN 1647-6158.

Acácia Thiele is probably one of the contemporary artists in Portugal, whose work is definitively more provocative, given the raw and explicit nature of her self-exploitation of the naked body. Structured in the erotic mainstream languages, her work is nevertheless effective in the purposes of gender issues that addresses the forbidden grounds she performs.

Keywords : provocation; gender; nudity; selfrepresentation; feminine.
