BETRAN TORNER, María. Objectified individual and humanized object in the work of Naia del Castillo. Estúdio [online]. 2015, vol.6, n.12, pp.44-52. ISSN 1647-6158.
This article is based on the analysis of two key series of the work of the Spanish artist Naia del Castillo: "Domestic Space" (2000-2001), and "Portraits and dialogues" (2000), through which this edge, she explores the collective and social identity, but also the individual one, and especially, women's identity and its relationship with the home environment. To do this, in most of the cases, she used as models, different women, who are placed in situations through which she invites to think about the individual and collective identity, or the subject's relationship with oneself, with other subjects and their environment.
