Abstract

This article discusses the work of the Mozambican visual artist Maimuna Adam considering the aesthetic and critical reflection on issues involving the construction of identities. The artist proposes, through her artwork, a cross between historical, autobiographical references and memories (resulting from direct experiences or mediated by family stories).
