Abstract

The Brazilian artist Lucia Castanho has developed an impressive series inspired by Ophelia character, originally presented by William Shakespeare in Hamlet. The series, as the same time that emphasizes a unique configuration - the heart - overflows into multidimensional - in different artistic forms through diverse materiality. From the uno to the multi, the artist determines the potency of language - through images of the feminine.
