Abstract

SABINO, Isabel. Grupo Acre, born here (and thus ended ?). Estúdio [online]. 2016, vol.7, n.15, pp.73-79. ISSN 1647-6158.

In 1977, two works in two places are decisive in the history of Grupo Acre, and they are expressive of the gradual turn of the Portuguese society since April 74. Their analysis and contextualization aim to understand conceptual roots and relation with the space they have been though to, in the IV International Art Meetings of Caldas da Rainha, when violence suddenly breaks out, marking the suspension of this group's activity. Today, without map, fear seep in global public spaces, implying deep reflection about the destiny of creative freedom.

Keywords : Grupo Acre; violence; fear; creative freedom.
