The 17 articles selected for this issue 16 of Revista Estúdio establish relations with the urban space, recalling the critical approach of ethno-methodology, by Georges Perec and also the proposal of 'drift' as a revolutionary pre-occupation of modernist space, by Guy Debord. Between the people and the objects there are possibilities of different lifestyles. Between one and the other, there is a consensus to be fractured, to be questioned. In order to examine paths one needs to know them; and in order to know them one needs to be ignorant of them. Then innovation and invention can occur. The artists know: materials are made of thought. With these materials we occupy our studios.
