Abstract

This article aims to present and analyze the essence of the Brazilian artist Sofia Borges 's production, in an attempt to open to the reader possibilities of entry into adeep and dense photographic set which is born and develops from the artist' s own questions about the existence, about representation, about the voids, about being and about the photographic image. This analysis has as its starting point and support, theartist's book, The Swamp, released last year, which brings asynthesis of her research and her artistic production.
