Abstract

ROCHA, Susana. Felippe Moraes: everything that is beyond us. Estúdio [online]. 2017, vol.8, n.18, pp.91-102. ISSN 1647-6158.

The following article develops a brief reflection on the plastic work of the brazilian artist Felippe Moraes, triggered by a seemingly paradoxical alliance between scientific methodology and spiritual search. Throughout the text not only his motivations are analyzed but also the works that were shaped by them. It is concluded that the body of work of Moraes is a singular praise to the human condition, and to the permanent quest to understand it in its distinct dimensions.

Keywords : Felippe Moraes; Contemporary Art; Method; Spirituality; Paradox.
