Abstract

This work looks at the work of José Luís Neto in the light of the concept of duration as defined by Henri Bergson. It seeks to counteract, to the idea that the photograph seeks a representation of the identity of the person photographed, the idea of an identity of the medium itself, through, at the same time, a search of its intrinsic nature and its limits in the attempt to record things that are Of the domain of that which lives and which, therefore, lasts.
