Abstract

The Plants Series, begun in 2006 by the Brazilian artist Sylvia Furegatti, has been acknowledging unfolding through the instigating production of objects, installations, interventions and artist's books that expand the original creative reason - derived from new artistic demands. Priority: the relations contemporary between nature and language and the transits between spelling and organicity. Therefore, the artist connects herself with the tradition of scientific illustration and the innovation of bioart.
