Abstract

RAMON SORIANO, María del Mar. Relations Between Body And Space: building Dwelling Thinking From the perspective of Estela Miguel. Estúdio [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.23, pp.102-110. ISSN 1647-6158.

In this entry we will show the work of the artist Estela Miguel, to create a link between her work and the ideas developed by Heidegger and Bollnow, which treats the fact of dwell. People are defined by the space in which they live in, and the space is defined by the person who occupies it. We talk about this reciprocal relation where the space makes acondition for us and, at the same time, this space is an extension of our own being. With Heidegger we will consider, to construct already as a part of the fact of dwell, the space is mutating among us and is evolving as we are in it. It exists relevance in the process and in the time that we dedicate to dwell that space, what can be seen reflected in the work of the artist at issue.

Keywords : Sculpture; body; dwell; domestic object; domestic process.
