Abstract

We are living with alienation only a short time ago: it is denounced in the industrial society through the priority relation of man with objects, and by the increasing reduction of the relationship of man with himself and with his fellow men. The richest man today is in the end much poorer. There is a superior role for artists, as they perceived it, for they had long been attentive, and were quick to point out absurdities, or to present the true color of human bodies in their deep beauty and weakness. So are the artists presented in this issue of Study Journal.
