Abstract

CORREA, Adriane Rodrigues  and  GONCALVES, Eduarda Azevedo. What remains and what is broken in the loss and destruction poetic in Raquel Ferreira's labyrinth house. Estúdio [online]. 2018, vol.9, n.24, pp.117-131. ISSN 1647-6158.

This article deals with the videographic and object works "It was Sunday and lunch had been served" and "Narratives of a destruction" by Brazilian artist and art researcher Raquel Andrade Ferreira, produced during her doctoral period in the Visual Arts Postgraduate Program, at Federal University of Porto Alegre - PGAVI/ UFGRS, under the advisement of Prof. Dr. Hélio Fervenza. These two works are analyzed through showing the established relation between the object in its poetic use context and the object in its symbolic networks of loss and transformation of the house in a destruction space, in chaos and in labyrinth of the woman artist.

Keywords : Destruction; labyrinth house; loss.
