Abstract

OLIVEIRA, Ronaldo Alexandre de  and  ALVES, Carla Juliana Galvão. The wefts of the body /city of Margarida Holler. Estúdio [online]. 2019, vol.10, n.25, pp.129-137. ISSN 1647-6158.

This work presents some reflections on the work of the Brazilian artist Margarida Holler, focusing on the relations between body and city. The body is seen as an object, but mainly the subject of the artistic/ aesthetic experience in the work of the artist, since it is thought as deriving from its own experiences and perceptions. With this objective, we chose to approach the constructive processes of two site-specific works in the cities of São Paulo-SP and Londrina-PR, Brazil.

Keywords : Body; city; site-specific.
