Abstract

This article aims to divulge some of the work of the Argentine artist Jorge Macchi through the cartographic view of a Brazilian design teacher whose artistic trajectory was interrupted and today seeks to wake up. Macchi's works focusing on the maps of countries or places, recurrent theme in his portfolio, are here disclosed and organized according the categories such as tension, balance and relationship science/art.
