In this paper, we analyze the Snow Dust series (2013) by Rui Calçada Bastos (b. Lisbon, 1971), produced at Lake Mälaren, in the city of Stockholm, Sweden, through an approach of the subjectivities inherent to the images we name "reflexive cosmicity" through the contributions of Gaston Bachelard and Italo Calvino. We present the interactive installation SkyLoopSpace as an exercise from this reflection and conclude by demonstrating the relevance of thinking about the operations of fable and imaginary in artistic practice.
