The feminine artistic production of the Brazilian Amazon, by provoking the constant interaction between art, technology and nature, has expanded the regional artistic sensitivity by updating it in themes, poetics and artistic supports. Such poetics promoted forms of more direct relations of the contemporary visual artists with the North region. This paper intends to present the locative media project of the Amazonian visual artist Val Sampaio entitled Water, being better translated as an artistic work about the affection for the North region mediated by the new media.
