Sérgio Niculitcheff, an artist from 80 Generation, a group that emerged in the 1980s with the exhibition titled: Painting as a medium, had its visibility very timid considering the power of its work, which has been recognized over time. His work can be approached from different points of view, which makes it dense and rich. We have chosen here to approach it from the point of view of phenomenology, considering its inevitable contemporary condition, highlighting the importance of the symbolic dimension in his work.
