Abstract

This article intends to present how the artistic project is inseparable from the process of identity construction and, in what way, it finds tangency between personal development and artistic development. In this sense, the study crosses a twofold methodological dimension: the analysis of Luís Fortunato Lima’s artistic path in relation to the physical and social space of the Campanhã territory; and the analysis of identity development processes based on the dialogical approach to self. Thus, one crosses a perspective from art research and another from the field of research in social sciences, in a dialogue between projectual practice and personal identity.
