Digital culture with its limited interfaces makes us look fixedly, for hours, into a screen: sitting, motionless, we beat on akeyboard or click away on a mouse. The physical trauma resulting from this constraint is fed by technological cycles marked by the invention, development and obsolescence of new gadgets. These are some of the concerns of Isabel Valverde in Senses Places (2010-2020) a participatory cyberformance in mixed reality environments that aims to foster corporeality, corporeal consciousness and the amplification of the senses through the kinesthesia that pervades the convergence of virtual and real. Performers and intermedial public are distributed through out the planet and virtual space.
