Abstract

LOUREIRO, Domingos. Traumatized landscape: the inscription of traumatic human events in the territory, in the work of Bleda y Rosa. Estúdio [online]. 2021, vol.12, n.33, pp.168-180.  Epub Mar 31, 2021. ISSN 1647-6158.

The article aims to evaluate the cultural manifestation in the definition of landscape terminology, seeking to understand how aspects of an external and internal nature to the interlocutor promote a definition of the landscape-body. It is also intended, through the analysis of some recent artists, to understand how trauma can manifest itself as a mark of the cultural character associated with the landscape. In this sense, authors such as Anselm Kiefer, Cai Guo-Qiang, Michael Heizer, Luc Tuymans, Augusto Alves da Silva, serve as an understanding of the phenomena of cultural influence in the definition of landscape, then finally the analysis of two series of works by the authors Bleda y Rosa, towards the characterization of the notion of "traumatized landscape."
