This article intends to approach the ambivalent and unpredictable movement that often accounts for the artistic activity, as well as the creative process of an author. Therefore, Cláudia Amandi’s artistic activity will be approached within her operative processes that explain a formal and systematic regularity, to explore and analyze in which terms small derivations and alterities occur, regarding the space of a repetitive inscription. In an approximation to the self-dialogic theory and to the polyphonic discourse of Bakhtin, the process of artistic creation will be analyzed. Through an oscillating movement between the reiterated and concrete implementation of a set of procedural indications and the dialogical openness which fosters itself across the circumstantial unpredictability of the event.
