Abstract

The article summarizes the artistic practice of Frans Krajcberg (1921 - 2017), focusing essentially on the Natura Site built in 1966 by the author, in the Atlantic Forest, in southern Bahia. Space, for which a fund was created to build the "Frans Krajcberg Ecological and Artistic Museum Foundation" to preserve the place and its pedagogical functions. The recent developments that the forest has been subject to are also discussed, with direct reflection on the Ecological Museum project, making the reflection that Krajcberg defended so much even more urgent.
