Portuguese immigration in Luxembourg manifests a double spatial and demographic peculiarity: an intensification of the arrival flows in the past years and one of the most significant Lusitanian population densities with a high degree of territorial concentration.  The growing settling of successive generations of Lusitanian immigrants and descendants has shown an ongoing process of economic, sociocultural and political integration in the society of Luxembourg. Parallel to this integration process in this society, emerges a sui generis symbology in the Luxembourg landscape deriving not only from the development of numerous ethnic activities but also from the observation of Lusitanian referential in the private and public spaces.
