Abstract

The proposal for the conclusion of major road axes and the transformation of rivers into waterways in the Amazon region was strengthened in the sphere of regional planning in the 1990s and after 20 years the actions of the State and corporations that encouraged not only the completion of some axes to allow circulation as directed the production of agricultural commodities previously centered on the flow axes directed to the South and Southeast regions and now have a direction to the fluvial ports that are located in the gutters of the Amazon rivers. This article aims to analyze these transformations at the regional level of changes in the circulation of commodities in the Amazon, highlighting the performance of the State and the companies that installed infrastructures at the points of intersection of the rivers with the highways and establishing circulation routes between the ports and the product areas of. grains
