The aim of this work was to evaluate the influence of different sources of information on the perceptions about healthy eating. For this purpose, the method of survey by questionnaire was adopted yielding 381 participants from the university community, including students, teachers and staff. The results showed that, regardless of the source of information and the frequency of use, the participants' perceptions were compliant with a healthy eating style. The main source of information was the Internet, having family and friends revealed to be important as well. However, it is essential to continue developing strategies to increase the knowledge on this subject.
